We’re proud to present our 1st Annual TAC awards, (The Artistic Circle). These awards are the largest we’ve had since becoming a non-profit organization and all proceeds generated will be used to further our cause of spreading a peaceful message of love and social enlightenment through artistic expression and creativity.
Mother Nature, anything depicting the four elements. Earth, wind, water, fire. This contest is open to whatever the artist’s interpretation of Mother Nature is, so be creative and above have fun.

Unfortunately, due to financial issues, The Artistic Circle Foundation will no longer for the time being, be holding contests.
We apologize to everyone for not being able to follow through with the TAC awards, but a number of issues have
driven us to have to stop the contest.
This is a professionally judged contest. All judging is final.
Who can enter:
Anyone! The Artistic Circle is an International Contest open to adults, youths ,and kids. It doesn't matter if you are amateur, novice ,or professional. Our contest is about 'Healing the World through Art'!
What types of mediums can I use: We accept painting, photography, drawing, digital media, and sculptures (Make sure to have the entire sculpture visible in the photograph).
Winner is awarded $3000.00 Cash prize a solo exhibition (gallery to be announced), and displayed on front page of Artistic Circle website, and Winner's Gallery. This is a winner takes all competition. Prize money has been donated.
Solo Exhibition Requirements:
All work must arrive to the location gallery ready, meaning it must arrive ready to install. For those pieces not gallery ready or in poor condition will be excluded from the exhibition. Please try to have all art pieces, as professionally maintained, as possible. All art pieces shipped must be sent in a reusable container, or packaging with returned shipping pre-paid. Please remember to include a return label with your work. All work will be returned the same as it was delivered unless otherwise specified. All work will stay for the duration of the exhibition.
Important: All work not claimed in 40 days, after exhibition will be donated to a local library, school, or charity, so please after exhibition claim your work, or contact us if problem develops. Insurance issues: All of your pieces will be insured while on gallery premises this includes damage caused by us or patrons, theft, or vandalism, However,: Insurance does not cover damage that was sustained during shipping process this includes mishandling by carrier, or if the packaging used to protect the artwork in transit fails. Please make sure all mounting systems used are of good quality.
We will not be responsible for damage caused by faulty mounting systems, or damage to material of piece due to faulty mounting systems. The average amount of pieces including winning piece would be like 10-20 pieces. All artwork during gallery unless otherwise notified will be available for sale during exhibit.
The Artistic Circle will retain 25% commission on all artwork sold during exhibition.
-Art must be submitted in the following format types: (jpg,jpeg,gif) and be less than 2MB
-All art being submitted must be original and belong to the art submitting it.
-Please be advised if background is viewable we will crop it to show only the artwork.
-All artwork being submitted must have been done in the last 4 years.
- You may enter as often as you like.
Professional judge: Debra Miller
Debra Miller received her Ph.D. in Art History from the University of Delaware, with specializations in Renaissance,
Baroque, and American Art. Her teaching experience is extensive, including undergraduate, graduate, and study
abroad courses for the University of Delaware, Bryn Mawr College, Rutgers University-Camden, and currently,
Rowan University (Glassboro, NJ), and Hussian School of Art (in the historic Bourse Building, Philadelphia),
where she serves as Chair of the General Education Department. In addition to her classes in European and
American Art, Professor Miller also offers topics in Cross-Cultural Art History (Pre-Columbian, Native American,
and Polynesian Art). Dr. Miller was named a Commonwealth Speaker for the Pennsylvania Humanities Council
for 2008-09, and was renewed for 2010-11. Former Director of Revsin Gallery, Philadelphia, Dr. Miller serves as
President of the Board of Directors of Da Vinci Art Alliance in South Philadelphia.
She maintains an active schedule of curating exhibitions there and at venues throughout the world.

Note: To make the image size 2MB or less my suggestion would be to re-size the image so that it is 500 by 500 pixels.
You can also use a photo editing software and using the (save for web & devices) feature this should do the trick, as well.
Adobe Photoshop editing software is the one that I like the best which can be downloaded for a free trial. www.adobe.com
